“Boots”

We met this gentleman during our “Booze ‘N Blues” tour in Marks, Mississippi in 2019. He was sitting quietly watching “Domino Fred” (a future painting) and his young companion playing dominoes outside an old, rundown gas station that looked more like a junkyard. He didn’t say much while we hovered around taking photos. I liked his demeanor and old cowboy boots; he was a great subject for a painting. I took several photos of him and the others while Gloria and Steve engaged them in conversation.
