“All God’s Children”

This sweet lady approached our little Mississippi Delta “Booze & Blues” photo-excursion group while we were exploring and photographing Itta Bena, Mississippi. Officer Ted Washington stopped by to say hello to us while we spoke to her. I took photos of her and Officer Ted. After a short time, she took notice of me, reached out her hand and touched my forearm and said “Under the skin we’re all the same color. We’re all God’s children.” God’s messengers show up in the most unexpected places and unexpected ways to remind us we’re all his children.
